Rabat - The charred body of a French national of Moroccan origin was found Tuesday night in Offenburg in Germany.
An autopsy performed Wednesday in Freiburg Brigsau confirmed that the victim, who was identified as Ajaoun Brahim, 31, from Strasbourg and of Moroccan origin, had been shot dead and his body burned.
After he went missing, his wife informed the Strasbourg police that “he had not returned home from work, and that he had given no sign of life.”
The family posted search notices on social media networks.
According to DNA.fr, a passerby found the missing man’s charred body in a forest in Offenburg in Germany and informed the police who were dispatched to the scene immediately.
Michael Wacquez, the lawyer of the family of the victim, said that the victim had no “police record” and lived a normal, peaceful life with his wife.
