Casablanca- A young Moroccan storekeeper was shot four times during an armed robbery that took place on January 10 at a 7-11 store in Pennsauken Township, New Jersey.
According to ABC news, the armed burglary, which took place at 1:00 a.m. Friday morning, was the second of its kind at the same 7-Eleven.
The local Police said three armed individuals broke into the 7-Eleven store and threatened the 27-year-old Moroccan storekeeper, Adil Boutahli, who handed them all the money in the cash desk. They also stole cigarettes and cigars from the store.
One of the armed robbers subsequently shot the Moroccan storekeeper four times. Boutahli is now in a critical condition fighting for his life.
The police said that the entire robbery was caught on videotape by the store’s surveillance cameras. They are hoping that the public will help identify the robbers.
Soon after hearing of the violent incident, residents of the Pennsauken neighborhood gathered at the 7-11 store to express their concern and sympathy for Adil Boutahli and their condemnation of the violent crime.
