The company's president Thierry Colcombet said the new plant, which spreads over a surface of 2,000 square meters, will generate 40 jobs and a two million euros investment.

According to Usine Nouvelle, the facility, which is expected to start operations in 2016, will be located in the Casablanca industrial platform, Midparc.

Tecalemit Aerospace has production units in France and Tunisia. The company specializes in rigid pipes and hose assemblies for the aerospace industry. This includes the civil and military aviation, general aviation, helicopters, missiles and space launchers.

The Moroccan aeronautics and aviation industry generates an estimated one billion euros in turnover and employs 10,000 people.

The Moroccan government provides appealing financial packages and tax exemptions to lure global aerospace manufacturers, including Airbus, Dassault Aviation, Safran SA, and Bombardier.
