Rabat- Morocco enjoys stability despite the regional context of unrest in the region, said former French President and President of the Republicans party Nicolas Sarkozy on Sunday in Casablanca.
Speaking to members of his party in Morocco, Sarkozy highlighted the reforms spurred by HM the King that further safeguard Morocco’s stability.
The former French president praised the "bold" reforms implemented in the Kingdom, notably the adoption of a new constitution in 2011.
He voiced satisfaction at the Moroccan-French relations which are enriched by the presence in France of a large Moroccan diaspora.
Sarkozy is on a visit to Morocco leading a delegation of his party made notably of MPs, Christian Cambon, Luc Chatel, Rachida Dati, Pierre Lellouche and Olivier Marleix.
