Rabat - A Turkish Airlines flight en route to Basel in Switzerland on Tuesday forced to make an emergency landing in Ataturk Airport in Istanbul due to a bomb threat, the Dogan News Agency reported.
The same source said that the plane, Boeing 738, with 151 passengers on board, was recalled while it was in the Bulgarian airspace to return to the airport.
This incident is the third in less than a month that have forced the carrier to divert or recall flights.
The last bomb warning on the TK15 Istanbul- Sao Paolo flight was reportedly a “hoax” following the termination of investigations after the plane was forced for an emergency landing in Casablanca’s Mohammed V airport.
