Rabat - Another recent personal photo of King Mohammed VI has gone viral on social media. The photo was taken with an Emirati citizen at the United Arab Emirates’ 43rd National Day, which celebrates the unification of the seven emirates and the founding of the country in 1971 under Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
The King attended many of the anniversary’s activities, including the military parade on Thursday.
In recent years, Moroccans have become accustomed to see pictures of the King posted on and shared on Facebook, and also seeing him driving his car without or little protocol in every Moroccan city he visits.
In September, the King appeared in a selfie with Moroccan citizen in Paris.
It was the first time the Moroccan monarch appears in a selfie.
