Rabat - Sequences of the wedding ceremony of Prince Moulay Rachid with Miss Umm Kulthum Boufarès, which is taking place today in Rabat, will be broadcast live on the Moroccan TV channel Al Oula.
Chaired by King Mohammed VI, the wedding ceremony will be marked by the presence of numerous personalities, among which are members of the royal family and relatives of the Sovereign, members of government as well as personalities from the worlds of culture, arts and business.
National ambassadors and foreign diplomatic representatives were also invited to the ceremony. Royal families of several friendly countries of Europe, Asia and the Gulf will attend the festivities, as well as political and diplomatic personalities from many countries.
Several national music groups were called upon to be part of the three-day wedding of Prince Moulay Rachid of Morocco with 27-year-old Miss Oum Keltoum Boufares, a cousin of the Moroccan Royal family.
Among the privileged musical groups are those of Orchestra Tahour, El Haja Hamdaouia, El Haja Halima and two famous groups of Anadalusian music led by Abdou Saouiri and Ba Jdoub.
The Henna ceremony is scheduled to start on Friday, November 14th. The wedding ceremony will follow the next day.
