Rabat- Al Tazaj, the Saudi fast food chain specializing in grilled chicken recipes, has said it invested 140 million Dirhams in Morocco in less than a year following the opening of three BBQ restaurants in the city of Casablanca.
A spokesperson of Al Tazaj, a fast food chain which was founded in 1989 in Mecca, Saudi Arabia and, has ever since expanded to many countries in the Middle East and North Africa, said on the sidelines of the opening of the company's third restaurant in the Sidi Maarouf neighborhood that Al Tazaj investments created 500 jobs. He added that the company will be opening a fourth restaurant next month in the Aïn Sebaâ area, according to Alyaoum24.
Al Tazaj branch in Aïn Sebaâ will create 160 jobs with an investment of around 50 m Dirhams. The company reportedly invested 10 m dirhams in its newly-inaugurated Al Tazaj restaurant in Sidi Maarouf. Spreading over an area of 600 m, the restaurant has a maximum occupancy of around 200 seats and it created 60 new jobs. The Saudi company opened its first restaurant in Morocco in September 2013 in Ain Diab.
