Taroudant, Morocco - Moroccan Omar Azkagh was rewarded by giant social network Facebook after he discovered a major security flaw in its system, according to Afrique info.
Omar Azkagh, 22, has discovered a Facebook vulnerability that could allow any user to access the content of other Facebook users without their knowledge.
For his efforts in reporting the vulnerability to Facebook's whitehat bug bounty program, Azkagh received a reward of $ 4,250 from Facebook, after he conducted a survey and fixed the problem.
According to the same source, Azkagh has become the fourth Moroccan who helped the social network Facebook to find a security vulnerability and correct it.
Facebook has setup a program called “bug bounty” for security researcher or any users to report bugs and security flaws that could be exploited, and offer a monetary bounty for certain qualifying security bugs at the minimum of $500.
