Rabat- The Libyan national team on Saturday won the third edition of the African Cup of Nations for local players (CHAN) 2014, which was held in South Africa.
The Libyan team won the tile with a 4-3 penalty shoot-out win over Ghana in Cape Town.
This is the first time that Libya wins the African Cup of Nations in its history and is the second time that a Maghreb team wins the continental tournament, after Tunisia, which won the first edition of the tournament in 2011.
