Taroudant- According to Lemag, many phone users in Morocco reported that they were victims of an extremely dangerous spam SMS, which is being circulated these days.
The mobile owners have received an SMS saying: “I have pictures of you on Pixer. Download Pixer”, and the message is followed by this link http://pixer.mobi/go link, said the same source.
As soon as the receiver click on the aforementioned link, all data on the phone, including contacts list and other personal data will be hacked.
According to an Infomediaire letter, which reported this information, it is highly recommended to remove this SMS immediately upon receipt, as it contains a pirate hook.
Many phone network clients in Morocco find receiving unsolicited text messages sent by their operators – which are mainly commercial messages– annoying and time-consuming.
It is worth mentioning that smart phone users can install an SMS Spam Blocker on their phones that, once installed, will automatically starts blocking spam without the need for manual checking.
