Agadir- Morocco’s Raja Casablanca won the opening game of the FIFA Club World Cup, as it beat Auckland City (2-1).
Raja’s goals were scored by Mouhcine Iajour and Abdelilah Hafidi. The opening game took place on Wednesday evening in Agadir.
The game was preceded by a moment of silence and a minute’s applause to mark the life and accomplishments of anti-apartheid icon Nelson Mandela.
The FIFA Club World Cup is taking place in Morocco from 11 through 21 December
