Rabat- The Moroccan General Directorate for National Security (DGNS) suspended the head of the police department in the city of Khemisset following a citizen complaint.
The DGNS suspended the head of the police department in the city of Khemisset pending the outcome of a judicial investigation after a citizen filed a legal complaint against him and accusing him of fraud.
According to Maghreb Arab Press (MAP), the case is currently being examined by judicial authorities.
"These disciplinary measures are part of efforts by the DGNS to strengthen transparency, integrity, and morality in the ranks of officials of national security," the DGNS said in a statement.
