Taroudant - King Mohammed VI sent a condolence message to the families of the dead and injured of the tragic accident that took place on Tuesday morning near the city of Ouarzazate, southern Morocco, and decided to pay for the burial of the dead and the medical expenses of those injured, according to statement issued by the Royal Household.
In the message, the Sovereign said he “was deeply saddened and moved” to learn about the tragic accident.
The King expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathy following the accident that left many Moroccans dead, said the statement.
The communique of the Royal House said that the King “to personally pay for the transfer of the bodies, burial and funerals of the victims as well as for the medical expenses of those injured.”
The King also issued his instructions to the authorities, to provide all the necessary support and assistance to the families of the victims.
