CAIRO
Egypt’s former Vice-President Mohamed ElBaradei has dismissed reports about criticizing interim Premier Hazem al-Beblawi and army chief Gen Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi.
"These reports are groundless and bare of truth and are mere lies," ElBaradei said during a phone call with Shukri Fouad, the deputy leader of al-Doustor Party.
ElBaradei, the leader of al-Doustor Party, has resigned earlier this month in protest at the dispersal of protest camps staged by anti-coup protesters, which left hundreds of people dead.
Shortly after his resignation, the former nuclear chief left Cairo for Vienna.
Reports were widely circulated that ElBaradei, the leader of al-Doustor Party, had criticized al-Beblawi and al-Sisi, who is also the defense minister.
ElBaradei reiterated that he is keen on having "Egypt cross the transitional period safely and with minimum costs".
Morsi, Egypt’s first democratically elected president, was ousted by a military coup on July 3 after mass protests against his presidency.
