Errachidia - Hamid Chabat, the Secretary General of the Istiqlal Party, demanded on Sunday in Errachidia that Abdelilah Benkirane, the Moroccan Head of Government, clarify his relationship with the terrorist group Daesh (ISIS).
During his speech at the regional meeting of the Istiqlal Party in Errachidia, (337 km southeast of Fez), the Secretary General said that his party, in the opposition, has been asking for more than a year that Benkirane’s Party of Justice and Development (PJD), clarify to the Moroccan public their relationship with Daesh.
“We want the head of government to answer one simple question. What is your relationship with Daesh?” Chabat said.
The tense relationship between Hamid Chabat and Benkirane was obvious in Chabat’s speech.
“A long time ago, we had Mohamed Oufkir, then Driss Elbassri, may their souls rest in peace, and now we have a ‘Taghut’ (juggernaut), who is the Head of Government,” said Chabat.
