Casablanca - Minister Delegate to the Foreign Minister Mbarka Bouaida called on young Africans to work together in favour of promoting entrepreneurship in Africa.
Speaking at the opening of a fair on entrepreneurship and enterprises in Africa dubbed: "Hub Africa," the Minister said the event offers an opportunity for young African entrepreneurs to exchange experiences on job creation and innovation.
The Minister recalled that cooperation with Africa is a strategic choice for Morocco which considers that the success of this choice hinges on the setting up of a development model benefiting African population adding that Moroccan enterprises operate in more than 25 African countries.
She also noted that ensuring security and stability as well as fighting all kinds of terrorism are key elements in achieving sustainable development and economic progress in the continent.
For his part, President of Hub Africa, Zakaria Fahim said that the network brings together prominent African entrepreneurs to ponder on the means to boost economic development of the continent.
The fair is expected to attract 10,000 visitors from several countries to showcase the assets of the continent and the investment opportunities offered in African countries, he said.
Fahim also pointed out to the importance of the Fair as Africa's biggest gathering of economic actors. The fair is held under the high patronage of King Mohammed VI under the theme: "Believe in Africa, Invest in Africa."
