Taroudant - The Sheikh Khalifa Ben Zayed Al-Nahyane Hospital in Casablanca, Morocco's largest private hospital, will gradually open its services starting from March 23.
The hospital was inaugurated on Tuesday, March 17 by the King Mohammed VI and Sheikh Mohammed Ben Zayed Al-Nahyane, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
According to Dr. Al Sharif Chefchaouni Mountassir, Morocco's largest private hospital was built "with respect to the international standards and equipped with the most advanced and more modern medical and surgical equipment."

Located in the Hay Hassani neighborhood, next to the future Mohammed VI University of Science and Health, the hospital is built on an area of 39,000 square meters.

It has 205 beds, 46 consulting rooms, 85 rooms of checking and treatment, 8 operating rooms and four equipped ambulances. The hospital can recruit up to 740 employees, but for the moment, only 105 doctors (44 working full-time) and 220 nurses work there already.

For most of Moroccans, "the costs of health care will not be cheap," said Dr. Al Sharif Chefchaouni Mountassir. He added that the prices of checkups will be “the same as in Casablanca clinics," and the price for a specialist consultation will cost 300 dirhams.
