Rabat - The National Education and Vocational Training ministry has set up a National Observatory of Violence in School to track cases of violence in educational institutions.
The observatory, set up in collaboration with various public and private stakeholders, aims to collect and analyze data and reports from regions and provinces to establish a national database on violence in schools, the ministry said in a statement.
It also aims to share national and international experiences in the field, contribute to devising appropriate responses to the different cases of violence in schools and strengthen coordination between governmental and non-governmental sectors concerned.
The Ministry also announced the official launch of a computer system dedicated to monitoring the cases of violence in schools and their surroundings.
