Rabat - The Department of Infrastructure, Transport and Logistics has launched a tentative offer for the construction of a highway linking Beni Mellal to Fez-Meknes and Errachidia.
In its February 20th issue, the weekly La Vie Eco announced a new highway that will connect Beni Mellal to Fez-Meknes.
In order to open up the southeastern provinces and central-east to the rest of the Kingdom, the minister decided to link the province of Errachidia to the highway connecting Beni Mellal with Fes-Meknes.
Three new highways will operate this year, namely Rabat highway (41 km), Berrechid-Beni Mellal highway and El Jadida-Safi highway.
According to “Autoroutes du Maroc” (ADM), Morocco's Highways, the Moroccan network has now reached 1,800 km., 1,511 of which are in operation, and the rest will have been completed by 2016.
