Rabat- Soufiane Elbahri, the admin of the social media fan pages of king Mohammed VI, King of Morocco, received a check of $100 on Monday from Tsu, the only social media network that offers to share with its users the financial profits it generates.
El Bhari is the first person in the Arab world who received a share of the profits generated from the ads Tsu displays on its users’ accounts.
The manager of the king’s account said in a statement posted on Tsu that he is going to donate the amount he received to a Moroccan Orphan Charity in Salé, Morocco, this week.
Soufiane Elbahri, the manager of the account, is very active, with at least one publication a day, always liked and commented on by hundreds of people.
The New York-headquartered social network is appealing to a growing number of Moroccan users. Motivated by the presence of the King in this new social media, many Moroccans are joining the network, bringing the country into a 2nd place ranking on “Tsu’s Visitors by Country” preceded only by the U.S.
