Rabat - A Facebook page called "the scandals of the health sector" reveals through 'shocking' photos taken from several hospitals and medical facilities throughout Morocco the low quality services that are being provided to Moroccans.
The photos are being posted by doctors working in public hospitals in order to denounce the poor state of Moroccan medical facilities.
They portray the work conditions inside under-equipped hospitals that do not meet the hygiene criteria for them and their patients.
The Facebook page also reveals photos of a dozen women giving birth and breastfeeding their new-born babies on the floor due to the lack of a sufficient number of beds at the Rabat University Hospital.
In addition, the photos show cats running around in hospitals, unusable toilets and even snakes crawling near the hospital walls.
