Rabat - CAF president Issa Hayatou reportedly left the city of Marrakech immediately after the meeting of the FIFA executive committee, heading to the Egyptian capital in order to prepare for a CAF meeting on Monday.
According to sources quoted by Alyaoum24, the Cameroonian decided not to attend the FIFA Club World Cup final scheduled to take place Saturday in the Grand Stadium of Marrakech between Spain's Real Madrid and San Lorenzo from Argentina.
Hayatou is reportedly afraid of being criticized by the Moroccan fans, especially that he is expected to impose harsh sanctions on Morocco following the decision to postpone the 2015 CAN over fears of the Ebola virus.
