Rabat - Hajiba Fahmy, 26, is a French dancer of Moroccan descent. In an interview with French website Pure Charts, she talked about how it is to be a dancer for Beyoncé. She added that the American Pop star asked her what her name meant in Moroccan.

Fahmy was born in Valence, France. A modern and classical Jazz passionate, she started dancing at the age of 6. She went to Paris at the age of 16, where she took contemporary dance classes for five years.

During a shooting for Issey Miyake, she met the man who would become her agent Bruno Perret. He got her an audition for the choreographer Blanca Li for the H & M campaign that will feature an "American artist."

After she was selected to be part in the H & M campaign, she discovered that the "American artist" was her childhood idol Beyoncé Knowles.

"I said to myself this is not possible, it's a double," Hajiba Fahmy said. "It’s awesome anyway. This is my youth. I sang Destiny's Child songs with my cousins and my sisters. That's incredible," she added.

Having worked with Beyoncé during the H & M campaign in January 2013, Hajiba thought that was it. However, Queen B, impressed by her work and seriousness, asked her to participate in the "Mrs. Carter Show" tour.

"Working with Beyoncé is also an opportunity to meet beautiful people," the French-Moroccan said. "I met Justin Timberlake behind the scenes. We don't necessarily talk to them, we wanted to take pictures, it was so cool.

"After, Jay-Z often. Who else? Many movie stars like the actors of "Gossip Girl" who come to watch the show and come to the backstage afterwards. There was also Gerard Butler, Adrian Brody. The actors are sensitive to the dancers on stage. There are lots of interactions with them," she added.
