Casablanca - The new security mechanism "HADAR" meant to fight threats facing the Kingdom was launched on Monday at the Casablanca Mohammed V airport.
In a statement to the press, governor in charge of general affairs at the Casablanca's wilaya Najib Gourani noted that this operation will be generalized in the coming days to cover all sensitive sites nationally.
He said that Morocco is urged to raise the level of vigilance and security to counter all threats facing it, adding that this security mechanism is set up following accurate intelligence saying that Morocco has become a target for terrorist threats.
The governor recalled the announcement made by the Interior Minister concerning the Royal decision to reinforce the national plan in force in order to fight the different threats targeting the Kingdom.
He added that the said mechanism includes the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), the Royal Gendarmerie, the Police and the Auxiliary Forces.
This new mechanism will be set up gradually to back action by state services for the protection of citizens and foreign visitors, he said
