Rabat - Mounir El Haddadi said earlier that playing for Morocco is very possible in the future. Even his mother confirmed his love to Morocco, adding that he considers defending its colors.
However, the 19-years-old has confessed to Spanish sports newspaper MARCA that he is only focusing on playing for the Under-21 Spanish team and rules out any other thoughts that might disturb his concentration.
"I'm with the Spain team at the moment. I'm very happy and we'll see about the rest. I'm not thinking about anything else," Mounir told MARCA.
El Haddadi was called up by the U-21 Spanish national team, something he said he did not expect. "I didn't expect they would call me up. I am really happy to be here."
