Casablanca- Moroccan cities are increasingly captivating Indian travelers, consequently placing the kingdom on top of best go-to places for Indian lovers of breathtaking, unconventional travel experiences.
According to Indian Website Business Standard, Morocco topped the list of most searched 2014 summer destinations, based on a recent survey.
The kingdom, with an astounding 261 % jump in destination searches on the net compared to last year, topped the list of most yearned-for holiday destinations.
According to the same source, Morocco was followed by Bhutan, which recorded a 244% jump in searches, and Greenland (self-governing province of Denmark), which witnessed a 240% increase in the number of online searches.
In Europe, Croatia proved to be one of the most searched European countries with a 152% increase in searches.
A recent ranking published last April by American website TripAvisor ranked Marrakech- Morocco's most visited tourist destination- the world’s sixth tourist destination.
