Paris - The cession of 53 pc of Maroc Telecom's shares, owned by French Vivendi, to UAE's Etisalat will be finalized on May 14, the French group announced on Thursday.
"Vivendi announces that all the conditions associated with the selling to Etisalat of its 53 percent participation in Maroc Telecom are lifted", said the source in a release.
Vivendi signed a deal last November to sell its 53% stake in Maroc Telecom to Etisalat for a sum amounting to 4.2 billion euros.
