Rabat- Morocco and Qatar agreed on Tuesday in Rabat, to establish a working group to promote bilateral cooperation in the field of transport.
Both parties agreed to "set up a working group to promote bilateral cooperation in the field of transport, including railways, aviation, and ports," Qatari transport minister, Jassem Bin Sif Bin Ahmed Sliti told the press, after talks with his Moroccan counterpart, Aziz Rebbah, as part of the 5th session of the Moroccan-Qatari high joint commission.
An exchange of visits between members of the working group will be scheduled shortly to further promote cooperation between the two countries. In a similar statement, Rebbah highlighted the "great experience of Qatar in the field of infrastructure and transport," noting that "Qatar has showed great interest in the Moroccan market."
The 5th session of the Moroccan-Qatari high joint commission opened this Tuesday in Rabat under the chairmanship of Moroccan head of government, Abdelilah Benkirane, and Qatari prime minister and interior minister Cheikh Abdallah Ben Nasser Ben Khalifa Al Thani.
